They are located at:
- Gospel Church, Long Lane,m Marchwood, SO40 4WR
- Lloyd Recreation Ground (on the sports pavilion) Main Road.
- Marchwood Industrial Park (main security office) North Road.
- Southampton Football Club.
These are in addition to the one located at Marchwood Village Hall, village centre (by main front door).
The defib’s are all in locked cabinets and the ambulance service will provide the code to access them during an emergency.
Anyone can use a defib with out training as they talk to you and give you clear instructions. The machine will not shock unless it has too and this is automatic. Even children could use the defibs they are that easy.
We must say a very big thank you to Southampton Football Club, ABP Southampton, Lloyds Trustee and Marchwood Community Association who have all paid for these vital pieces of equipment and make them available for public use.
